Dr. Karma Hill, PhD, ACC
Business & Positive Psychologist | Executive Coach | Author | Keynote Speaker | ICF Georgia President | Leadership & Organizational Capacity Strategist
Reimagining how we live, lead, and work so people and organizations can flourish.
Dr. Karma Hill is a business psychologist, executive coach, author, keynote speaker, and leadership development strategist whose work challenges conventional approaches to resilience, burnout, and organizational success. As the Founder and CEO of Konversations with Karma, she partners with leaders and organizations to strengthen leadership capacity, cultivate healthier workplace cultures, and create the conditions for sustainable performance and human flourishing.
With more than 20 years of experience spanning psychology, coaching, leadership development, and organizational consulting, Dr. Hill brings a distinctive perspective to the intersection of human behavior, leadership effectiveness, and organizational well-being. She holds a PhD in Business Psychology with a specialization in Consulting from The Chicago School and a Master of Science in Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology from Life University. Her doctoral research explored the lived experiences of leaders navigating burnout in the post-COVID-19 workplace and the role of positive psychology coaching in supporting leadership well-being.
At the heart of her work is a fundamental belief: Sustainable success should not come at the expense of human well-being.
Dr. Hill is the creator of the REST™ Framework—Resilience, Emotional Intelligence, Self-Care, and Trust—a research-informed approach designed to help individuals and organizations build the capacity to navigate complexity, strengthen relationships, and lead sustainably. Her expanding body of work explores adaptive resilience, leadership capacity, psychological well-being, and the organizational conditions that either support or undermine human flourishing.
She is also the author of Sacred Pause: Reclaiming Your Energy, Your Voice, and Your Rhythm (2026), a deeply personal and psychologically grounded exploration of burnout, restoration, and the courage to redefine success. Drawing on her experience surviving three heart attacks at age 32, Dr. Hill challenges the normalization of chronic overextension and invites readers to recognize rest, reflection, and intentional living as essential components of sustainable leadership and personal well-being.
Through executive coaching, organizational consulting, keynote presentations, and leadership development experiences, Dr. Hill works with leaders across corporate, government, healthcare, education, and nonprofit sectors. Her work addresses burnout prevention, emotional intelligence, organizational culture, leadership effectiveness, trust, and the often-invisible demands placed on those responsible for leading and caring for others.
Beyond her consulting practice, Dr. Hill serves as the 2026 President of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) Georgia Chapter, advancing professional coaching, community engagement, and leadership development across the state. She is also the publisher of Flourish Forum Magazine and the founder of Flourish Forum Press, a publishing imprint of Konversations with Karma dedicated to amplifying meaningful conversations and ideas that inspire personal and collective flourishing.
Recognized by Yahoo Finance as one of the Top 10 Life Coaches to Watch in 2021, Dr. Hill has also been featured in VoyageATL and Women's Herald. Through her writing, research, speaking, and consulting, she continues to challenge leaders and organizations to move beyond simply managing burnout toward reimagining the systems, cultures, and leadership practices necessary for people to truly thrive.
Her message is both timely and transformative: We cannot build flourishing organizations on depleted people.
